About Lindsay
Blending Psychotherapy and Nutritional Support to Nourish the Whole You
Lindsay Calvario, Psychotherapist and Registered Dietitian, views the challenges in our lives as opportunities for healing, learning, and growth.
Lindsay is an authentic, loving, and approachable therapist and dietitian. Her style is highly compassionate, empathic, caring, and creative. She is also talented in appropriately and effectively challenging clients when needed. She strongly values curiosity and the fostering of empowerment in her work with clients.
Lindsay has extensive expertise, particularly in the areas of eating disorders and complex, developmental trauma, and has experience working in many different levels of care throughout her 17+ years in the field. Today, she specializes in helping people with eating disorders, anxiety, self-esteem, addiction, codependency, family conflict, life transitions, spirituality, and trauma. Lindsay is also talented at working with athletes and is a former collegiate cross country and track & field athlete herself.
Inspired by her own process of healing and recovery from an eating disorder and trauma, Lindsay believes the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of change. She integrates a range of therapeutic modalities to create a personalized and holistic experience for each client. She uses evidence-based techniques to help clients learn how to get regulated and grounded in their body, get in touch with their values, connect with their inner wisdom and guidance, and release stored trauma. As a registered dietitian, she also has the knowledge and capacity to help her clients utilize nourishment for healing of both the body and soul. Lindsay gets to the heart of what is driving ARFID, anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorders to help her clients get full resolution.
Lindsay offers clients hope, support, and a space to feel heard and understood. She believes a meaningful and abundant life is possible for all people. Getting there can be a journey that Lindsay wants her clients to not walk alone.
When not in the office, Lindsay is found out in nature whenever she can and doing her most important job of spending time with her husband and three children.
**In addition to therapy, Lindsay also offers Life Coaching services to clients regardless of location. Coaching provides a refreshing, strength-based approach to unlocking your true potential and achieving the results that matter most to you.
