About Lindsay
Lindsay Calvario, MS, RD, LDN, Psychotherapist and Registered Dietitian
Lindsay holds both a master’s degree in Dietetics from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University. Lindsay is highly regarded by her clients and colleagues as an authentic, loving, and approachable therapist and dietitian. She believes solutions to life’s problems come not from fixing anything, but by meeting challenges with love and then turning our focus towards what we wish to create.
Inspired by her own process of healing from an eating disorder and trauma, her style is compassionate, empathic, and creative. She meets her clients where they are at and is skilled at challenging clients in ways specifically fit for them. She values curiosity in her work, fosters empowerment in her clients, and views the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of change. Lindsay integrates a range of therapeutic modalities to create a personalized and holistic experience for each client. She guides clients in their transformative process, using techniques to help clients get aligned with their values, release stored trauma, and connect with their inner wisdom, guidance, and core essence. As a dietitian, she also has the capacity to help her clients utilize nourishment for healing their body and soul.
Lindsay has extensive expertise in the areas of eating disorders and complex, developmental trauma and has experience working in many different levels of care throughout her 17+ years in the field. Today, she specializes in helping people with eating disorders, anxiety, self-esteem, addiction, codependency, family conflict, life transitions, spirituality, and trauma. Lindsay is also skilled at working with athletes, drawing from her experiences as a collegiate cross country and track & field athlete herself.
Lindsay offers clients hope, support, and a space to feel heard and understood. She believes a meaningful and abundant life is attainable for all people. She recognizes that each client’s transformational process is a unique journey, one that Lindsay loves facilitating and never wants her clients to walk alone.
When not in the office, Lindsay is found out in nature whenever she can and doing her most important job of spending time with her husband and 3 children.
