Amanda Comstock, Psy. D.


Dr. Amanda Comstock is a licensed clinical psychologist who believes that change and growth can occur through a collaborative, supportive and therapeutic relationship. She is a warm and caring psychologist who will meet you where you are. She is passionate about helping her patients identify and work towards achieving their personal goals and wellness. When working with patients, Dr. Comstock practices Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She is also able to provide Christian Counseling. Dr. Comstock helps reduce distress by teaching coping skills that help patients to work towards their personal goals and assist with living a fuller and more meaningful life.

Dr. Comstock enjoys working with individuals of all ages with a variety of concerns, including: anxiety, depression, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma, relationship problems, bereavement, memory concerns, (i.e. Alzheimer’s, dementia, and family consultations for elderly parents). She also specializes in working with law enforcement officers and their families. In addition to therapy services, Dr. Comstock can also provide personality testing.

In her spare time, Dr. Comstock can be seen with a camera in hand as she loves photography, traveling, and spending times outdoors.

Skype Sessions Available


If you live too far from our offices to regularly come in, we can use Skype to hold sessions from a distance. Moving or heading away to college? Transitions can be assisted by staying close and personal through Skype.
